Cat Boarding in Townsville

A Cosy Stay in Our Catified Rooms

Leaving your cat behind is never easy – especially when they’re not fans of change.

Our cat boarding is designed for comfort and calm. Your cat gets their own dedicated room (or shares with their family members only), complete with climbing towers, hidey-holes, and all the quiet spots a cat could want.

No cages. No crowded catteries. Just a peaceful space where your cat can relax until you’re home.

Our Cat Rooms

We have three dedicated cat rooms – each one is set up to feel like a cat's dream hideaway.

Every room is fully catified with:

  • Climbing towers and perches

  • Cosy hidey-holes for cats who like to tuck away

  • Comfortable bedding at multiple levels

  • Temperature control year-round

Sharing arrangements:

Cats from the same household can share a room – familiar company often helps them settle. Cats who don't know each other are always given separate spaces.

Daily Care & Attention

Cats aren't dogs – we get it. They don't need constant entertainment, but they do need to feel safe and checked on.

What a typical day looks like:

Multiple check-ins throughout the day

Dedicated one-on-one time for play, pats, or just quiet company

Litter scooped daily, with full cleaning and disinfection every three days

Fresh food and water, always

If your cat is the type who takes a few days to come out of their shell, we give them space. If they're a cuddle monster, we're happy to oblige.

Food & Hydration

We provide quality kibble and wet food options, but cats can be particular and generally do better if you bring their own food. Familiar tastes help cats settle faster, especially in a new environment.  Please have all food clearly labelled with your cats name, and include written instructions.

Water options:
Every room has both still water bowls and a water fountain. Some cats prefer one over the other, so we offer both.

Special diets:
We're happy to accommodate prescription diets or specific feeding routines – just let us know the details.

Is Cat Boarding Right for Your Cat?

Our cat boarding is a great fit for cats who:
✅ Are comfortable being away from home (with a settling-in period)
✅ Do well in enclosed, calm environments
✅ Prefer having their own space rather than sharing with strangers
✅ Need reliable care while you're travelling

It might not suit cats who:
❌ Are extremely fearful or stressed by any change
❌ Have significant medical needs requiring constant monitoring

Not sure? Give us a call – we're happy to chat through whether it's the right option for your cat.

WHAT WE NEED

Vaccination:
Cats need an up-to-date F3 vaccination, protecting against feline panleukopenia, herpesvirus, and calicivirus. Admission is 14+ days after completing the initial course (but less than 1 year), or within 12 months of a booster.

Desexing:
All cats over 6 months must be desexed.

Parasite prevention:
Current flea treatment is essential. We'll provide treatment at your cost if we find fleas on arrival.

Please bring a vaccination certificate (photo is fine).
